Light weight concrete is one of those materials that sets a designer's heart aflutter. Gigacrete is one material in this lightweight concrete category worth looking at.

Gigacrete manufactures a light weight concrete replacement/alternative product that can be used for a wide variety of creative and traditional building applications. Concrete is a very flexible material -- and probably the most widely used building material in modern construction.

Companies are embedding various recycled materials in traditional concrete...but new forms of slushy materials that resemble traditional concrete are also being created. Gigacrete is one of them. StuccoMax-E ( Environmental ) is an environmentally friendly exterior stucco product. While having similar properties to StuccoMax, StuccoMax-E utilizes 80% (by volume) ash filler from coal fired power generating plants - qualifying as a LEED type green building material.

PanelSystem is the basis of a complete panelized building system with many residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Utilizing new manufacturing technology, the PanelSystem is vertically cast in a factory and delivered to job sites ready for rapid installation.

StuccoMax is a revolutionary one coat impact resistant stucco product for use on many exterior substrates and is ideal as a final finish for GigaCrete PanelSystem buildings or over conventional construction where ordinary stucco may be applied. StuccoMax may be applied in one heavy coat as thick as 7/8 of an inch and may be colored through the addition of stucco oxide powders or liquid pigments. This unique material offers a perfect one coat smooth finish that cannot be duplicated using conventional stuccos. StuccoMax is especially well suited to the Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) market. GigaCrete has commenced limited production of StuccoMax.

GigaFloor is an extremely strong and durable stamped/stained cementitious overlay featuring a one coat application with virtually no shrinking or cracking. Abrasion and impact resistant, it is designed for the multi-billion dollar new industry of stamped and stained concrete. With the ability to bond to most surfaces or be applied directly over concrete, GigaFloor creates an extremely hard coating – ready for stamping, etching, staining, or coloring.

PlasterMax is a state-of-the-art, one-step protective interior “plaster” coating with extreme strength and durability. It can be applied on many interior wall substrates and displays virtually no shrinking or cracking when properly mixed and applied. PlasterMax is also resistant to abusive damages such as scratches, abrasion, and impact. Applied as a thin shell coat over GigaCrete PanelSystem panels or conventional drywall/sheetrock, PlasterMax meets class “A” fire ratings. It is ideally suited to high abuse tenant spaces or high traffic areas such as rentals, hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, bathrooms, and offices where wall damage may be prevalent. PlasterMax can be applied directly over painted or unfinished drywall and is applied through conventional plaster or paint texture guns common to the painting and plastering industry. If a smooth finish is desired, PlasterMax can be troweled flat to look like Venetian Plaster. GigaCrete is currently producing limited quantities of PlasterMax and soon plans to introduce a variation of PlasterMax for high-end decorative and artistic applications.

GigaCast is a cementitious product ideal for casting architectural moldings created for decorative finishing, restoration, and fenestration artwork. The product is lightweight and Class “A” fire resistant. GigaCast will be marketed as a high-strength, fire resistant material for moldings and cast objects such as fireplace surrounds, architectural features, three dimensional sculptures, statuary, and a myriad of other products.

GigaPatch is a ground breaking one-step concrete patching and filler material that exceeds the strength of many conventional concrete patching products. Mixed by hand and poured or troweled into cracks, pot holes, and cavities in concrete, GigaPatch will set quickly in just a few hours and reach high early strengths exceeding conventional concrete. GigaPatch will bond to most types of clean concrete or asphalt.

GigaSiding is a superior fiber/ash based sheet goods product with compressive strengths ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 PSI. GigaSiding is fireproof and will be offered in numerous versions of smooth, wood, slate, stone, pebble, and stucco textured finishes.

BallistiCrete is an exterior coating that has numerous military and government applications where protection is needed from ballistic attack and blast mitigation.

RockOn is a rigid protective coating that can be built up in one-coat to almost any thickness with virtually no shrinking or cracking. The dry premix is mixed onsite as needed by adding a small amount of clean water with conventional paint and plaster mixers. RockOn is a cost effective way to cover artwork or other objects with an extremely hard fire resistant coating. RockOn is designed as a hard coating over polystyrene foam without the need for metal lath.
